Workforce Initiative Association in Canton, Ohio seeks an Employment Services Specialist to assist job seekers, employers, and community members at OhioMeansJobs resource centers, in person and online. You will coach customers on career exploration, resumes, and online job search, and assess their skills and readiness.

The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and positive, with strong communication skills and a commitment to helping others.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree or 3–5 years related experience.
• 1–3 years of customer service preferred.
• Strong job search, recruiting, or HR experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to present to groups.
• Accurate data entry and confidentiality.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Assist in-person or virtual services at OhioMeansJobs centers.
• Provide resume and internet job search assistance.
• Lead workshops and staff job fairs and community events.
• Enter customer data into CRM and state systems.
• Develop employability plans and connect to resources.
• Conduct job seeker assessments.
• Travel to service area as needed.
