Job summary

MKH Search Limited is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Orlando-based construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in multifamily, retail, or K-12 projects and a strong grasp of construction processes and documentation.

You will support the Project Manager, help manage scheduling and budgeting, review plans, coordinate with subs and vendors, track costs, and assist with procurement and closeout tasks. Procore experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience with multifamily, retail, or K-12 construction.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and project documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Procore experience preferred.
• Construction-related degree preferred, but relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager with the day-to-day management of construction projects
• Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and overall project coordination
• Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Track project costs, change orders, purchase orders, and commitments
• Assist with procurement and coordination of materials and equipment
• Attend project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and project teams
• Work closely with the Superintendent to coordinate field activities
• Help identify and resolve project issues throughout construction
• Assist with project closeout, punch lists, inspections, and final documentation
