Job summary

Marand Builders, Inc is seeking a dynamic General Contractor Assistant Project Manager to join the team in Florida to oversee construction projects from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering or related field with at least 2 years of commercial construction experience, and can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with owners, subcontractors and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in CM/Engineering or related field.
• 2 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, overseeing projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with owners, trades, and teams.
• Proficient in project reporting software and MS Office; blueprint reading.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Proactive problem-solving and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Share responsibilities of managing project budget and schedules.
• Coordinate among subcontractors and resolve issues.
• Assist Project Manager and may lead projects independently.
• Use scheduling software to develop and maintain schedules.
• Maintain project documents and cost control data.
• Support in close-out procedures and warranty work.
• Assist mobilization, permits, and value development.
