Job summary

MonDay Community Correctional Institute seeks a dedicated professional to facilitate career development, employment, vocational, educational, and community-based programming for residents. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with four (4) years of experience in employment, vocational training, career development, education, or a related field and a current CDCA required.
• Associates Degree in Behavioral Science with two (2) years of experience preferred, and ability to submit CDCA application within ninety (90) days and obtain within six (6) months of appointment.
• Ability to read and prepare routine reports and statistical information.
• Knowledge of employment, workforce development, vocational training, and career development principles.
• Ability to assist with educational assessments and standardized testing procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation related to educational, vocational, employment, and community service activities.
• Knowledge of and ability to implement problem-solving principles.
• Familiarity with standard software packages (i.e., SMART boards, Microsoft Word, Excel) and ability to use a computer for efficient completion of routine tasks.
• Ability to learn and comply with GED testing procedures, security requirements, and testing-platform protocols.
• Valid State of Ohio Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate career development, employment, vocational, educational, and community-based programming.
• Coordinate GED and TABE testing activities.
• Maintain resident databases and documentation related to education and employment.
• Assist with community service orientation and volunteer programs.
• Support residents with educational assessments and progress tracking.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support transition and reintegration.
