Tallahassee State College is seeking a Career Development Specialist – P07816 for the Lowell Correctional Institution Annex (Region III). This full-time, grant-funded role supports Compass 100 Hybrid and in-cell instruction for eligible participants, including assessments, curriculum delivery, documentation, and release planning collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or high school diploma and 2 years in workforce development, social services, or corrections.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsabilités

• Administration and interpretation of assessments.
• Delivery of the 100-Hour Transition Skills Program curriculum.
• Delivery of other programs as determined by the Department.
• Maintaining and providing documentation of services delivered.
• Reporting monthly attendance, program enrollments, and completions on DC5-149 form.
• Providing information for pre-release connections with community providers and employers.
• Assisting with hiring events, mock interviews, pre-release job search, recruitment, and readiness portfolio development.
