Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of job development practices and career pathways for adults and youth.
• Experience with counseling and planning careers and employability skills.
• Ability to convey information clearly and facilitate workshops.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to HUD guidelines and THA policies; coordinate all employment activities for residents 16+.
• Develop career counseling, employability training, resume prep, interview techniques, and job search support.
• Screen candidates for pre-employment readiness and organize weekly work-readiness groups.
• Plan and conduct job search skills workshops and career exploration activities.
• Coordinate logistics for interviews, including transportation and documentation; follow up with participants and employers.
• Meet with residents to assess progress and adjust plans; market PPS programs to employers.
