Job summary

The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay seeks a SEE Specialist to train clients in employability and job placement, reporting to the Healthy Minds Program Manager. The role supports individuals facing trauma and related challenges across the community.

This full-time position requires up to 50% travel and collaboration with schools and community partners to connect clients with employment resources. A Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in social services are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Vocational Education, or related human services field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Social services, preferably family services
• Strong skills in family coaching, needs assessment, and helping families communicate and work together effectively

Responsibilities

• Respond to clients using agency policies and procedures.
• Advocate for services and resources for families.
• Assist and participate in grant-funded research activities.
• Conduct outreach to community partners for the Healthy Minds program.
• Involve staff in PQI processes and use data to improve services.
• Complete NAVIGATE and SOAR trainings.
• Conduct employment and educational assessments.
• Participate in treatment planning and fulfill fee-for-service requirements.
• Identify community resources to assist the client population (young adults with mental health needs).
• Develop partnerships with community resources and school systems.
• Identify local employers and incentive programs to place clients.
• Post-hiring monitoring and mentoring for client outcomes.
• Monitor outcomes and adjust services for effectiveness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by program management.
