Job summary

Southwest-Key-Programs is seeking a Career Coach to serve adults and dislocated workers through the WIOA program. You will verify eligibility, assess needs, and develop tailored employment plans, providing ongoing case management and progress tracking to help participants achieve self-sufficiency and job retention.

Responsibilities include coordinating supportive services, documenting in TWIST/WIT, and maintaining confidentiality while collaborating with staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum one year in case management or customer service, or 60 credits with 3 years full-time qualifying experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have own transportation to perform duties; professional appearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide information to potential WIOA participants and verify eligibility for WIOA services.
• Conduct assessments to determine client needs.
• Develop and track employment plans and provide case management for each client.
• Coordinate supportive services such as childcare and transportation to eligible customers.
• Conduct follow-up with providers and clients via phone, mail, or home visits; monitor progress toward goals.
• Maintain accurate case files and submit documentation in the TWIST/WIT system.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure participants' goals are met and maintain confidentiality.
• May facilitate group orientations.
• Travel to meetings, trainings, outreach activities; able to work remotely when needed.
