Job summary

EDSI seeks a Career Coach to support WIOA and EARN participants, guiding job seekers through registration, resumes, training selection, and IEP development. You will coordinate with CareerLink and partner services to remove barriers and promote employment goals.

Responsibilities include coaching, documenting outcomes, and ensuring compliance with program guidelines, while actively connecting participants to GED/ESL services and local resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or 1-3 years equivalent experience preferred.
• Prior Case Management experience.
• Prior experience in workforce development strongly preferred.
• Must be organized, able to prioritize tasks, and efficiently handle several tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrate communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Clean driving record, valid Driver’s License.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between WIOA Adult, EARN, and Youth customers, providing career support.
• Assist job seekers with registration, job search prep, resumes, and training program selection via PA CareerLink.
• Design and update Individual Employment Plans (IEP) to ensure compliance.
• Provide remote WIOA registration services using secure email.
• Document visits and referrals in CWDS and state systems.
• Coordinate with BST to pre-screen job opportunities and refer participants.
