Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in social work, counseling, advising, academic guidance or related field.
• Proven ability to collect, interpret, and synthesize information about a student's social history and barriers to progress.
• Ability to work cooperatively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform casework with students to identify and resolve barriers to success.
• Attend team and professional development meetings.
• Administer assessments to determine student needs.
• Manage and monitor student information to track progress.
• Develop students' class schedules and graduation plans with rapid turnaround.
• Collaborate with instructors and staff to monitor progress and plan pathways to success.
• Gather background information on students' social history through observations and interviews.
• Contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and related services.
