Job summary

National Center for Urban Solutions seeks a Job Coach to provide comprehensive case management, career readiness support, and placement services to program participants. You will guide enrollment, training progression, credential attainment, and successful transitions into employment.

The role emphasizes ensuring participants remain engaged, complete credentials (OSHA-10, SACA, FANUC, NCCER, IC3, etc.), and meet performance metrics related to enrollment, retention, and job placement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of case management/workforce development/career coaching experience.
• Experience with underserved populations and barriers to employment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of job readiness, career pathways, and employment placement strategies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data tracking systems (QuickBase, ARIES, or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned caseload from enrollment through job placement and retention.
• Conduct intake, assessments, and develop an Individual Opportunity Plan (IOP).
• Maintain weekly engagement with participants (in-person, virtual, and phone).
• Identify barriers to employment and connect participants to supportive services.
• Coordinate with employers to align participants with job opportunities and track outcomes.
• Enter participant data and progress into data systems within 24 hours, maintaining compliance.
