Job summary

Center For Family Services in Salem County, NJ is hiring a full-time Case Manager/Employment Coach to support workforce development and create career pathways for participants who lost income. The role includes counseling, resume development, interview prep, and coordinating with employers to expand opportunities.

The position serves at least 90 participants per county and requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in vocational counseling or social work (or related field) with relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience managing a large participant caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with data systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete enrollment eligibility assessments and review client needs.
• Evaluate background, skills, and interests to match job openings or training.
• Coordinate one-to-one counseling, goal development, and job-readiness training.
• Establish relationships with employers to source opportunities.
• Support clients with job search, interview prep, and placement.
• Maintain case notes and data in the program system.
• Develop community partnerships to provide additional services.
