Job summary

Center For Family Services is seeking a full-time Employment Coach to develop reentry career pathways, provide individualized case management, and connect participants to job opportunities through partnerships with local employers and public agencies. The program serves seven southern New Jersey counties and aims to enroll 200 participants per grant period.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in vocational counseling or social work or related field; commensurate experience may be acceptable in lieu of degree.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Current driver's license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Interview and assess participants' eligibility for program enrollment.
• Provide wraparound case management including orientation, 1:1 training, and group workshops.
• Establish relationships with employers and public agencies to source job openings and training opportunities.
• Coach and prepare candidates for interviews and entry into the workforce.
• Match applicant skills with employer requirements and support job placement and retention.
