Job summary

Career Focus Inc. is seeking a contract Employment Readiness Coach to work directly with clients, build job skills, explore interests, and support them as they begin employment.

The role requires reliability, professionalism, and accurate documentation, with the ability to set your own schedule. You will provide one-on-one coaching, assist with resumes, interview prep, and workplace skills, and offer onsite or virtual coaching as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and at least 1 year of experience in education, coaching, human services, or related field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently without daily supervision.
• Reliable transportation and a valid Florida driver's license.
• Contractor insurance (general liability and auto).
• Must pass a Level 2 background screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one employment readiness coaching
• Support clients with resumes, interviews, and workplace skills
• Offer onsite or virtual job coaching as needed
• Communicate professionally with employers when supporting clients
• Maintain accurate notes and submit documentation on time
• Uphold Career Focus standards in conduct, service, and communication
