American Oncology Network (AON) in Fort Wayne is seeking a Care Team Supervisor to lead the Care Team Specialist department while maintaining hands-on responsibility for patient intake, scheduling, patient office visits, medical records management, and financial transactions. You will ensure an exceptional patient experience, operational efficiency, and compliance with policies.

This role focuses on leadership, staff development, and adherence to HIPAA across front office and clinical exam

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or lead experience in Care Team or similar.
• Experience in oncology or specialty physician practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Care Team Specialist team members and audit workflows.
• Ensure training on SOPs, JBIs, and documentation practices.
• Hire, onboard, and coach staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Maintain EMR and billing system accuracy; ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Monitor productivity metrics and identify process improvements.
• Coordinate staff schedules and cross-site coverage.
