AdvantageCare Physicians is hiring a Medical Assistant (Care Team Associate II) in Forest Hills to support clinical care and administrative tasks. You will work under supervision to assist providers, manage patient flow, and ensure accurate EPIC/EMR data entry.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and Medical Assistant certification or eligibility, with 1 year ambulatory care experience (3 years preferred). Excellent customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certificate of completion from an accredited Medical Assistant Program required or eligibility to sit for the national certification exam and pass the exam within 18 months of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as medical assistant in an ambulatory care setting; three years preferred.
• Experience navigating an EMR system and performing administrative/clinical duties.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients warmly; manage wait times and patient flow; assist with registration and check-in/out.
• Answer calls professionally; schedule appointments; verify insurance; address patient concerns.
• Register patient demographics and financial info; ensure data accuracy; scan documents into EMR.
