Job summary

AdvantageCare Physicians, a large primary and specialty care network, seeks a Care Team Associate II to support clinical and administrative tasks under RN/LPN supervision.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, managing registrations, appointments, referrals, and data entry in EPIC, while ensuring service excellence and accurate cash handling. Experience in ambulatory care and EMR use is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as medical assistant in an ambulatory care setting.
• Three years’ experience as medical assistant in an ambulatory care setting preferred.
• Experience navigating an EMR (Electronic Medical Record).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage wait times, check-in/check-out, and patient flow to reduce delays.
• Answer phones professionally and schedule/verify appointments; assist with insurance verification.
• Register patients and ensure data accuracy in the electronic system; scan documents.
• Coordinate referrals and follow up on pre/post referral activities.
