Job summary

Angel Companions in East Cobb is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to manage caregiver assignments and coordinate with clients and families to ensure timely, high-quality care. This role requires collaboration with the Director of Case Management to guarantee continuity of care during emergencies and to align caregiver availability with client needs.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, administrative skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced home healthcare

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Proven experience in scheduling and managing complex calendars with multiple variables.
• Administrative expertise with the ability to handle competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the scheduling process to ensure caregivers are matched with clients based on their skills and client needs.
• Collaborate with the client and their families to schedule replacement caregivers as needed.
• Work closely with the Director of Case Management to ensure continuity of care during emergencies and manage caregiver assignments.
• Play a crucial role in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Maintain open communication with clients and their families to address any scheduling concerns or changes.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure care plans are aligned with client requirements.
• Assist in resolving complaints, incidents, and problems as needed, providing guidance to caregivers when necessary.
• Oversee the maintenance of accurate logs for new, resumed, discharged, and denied cases, ensuring compliance within the department.
• Run various daily and weekly reports to check for any discrepancies or errors, and ensure the necessary corrections are made.
• Monitor adherence to company policies and procedures.
