Job summary

Visiting Angels North Buckinghamshire in Manchester is seeking an experienced Care Coordinator to join a friendly, growing home care team. You will plan caregiver rotas, ensure visits are covered, and match caregivers to clients based on needs and availability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Care Coordinator or in a similar care role.
• Experience using Birdie care management software.
• Experience organising and managing staff rotas.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the home care sector.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Confident working under pressure and solving problems.
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Planning and managing Caregiver rotas
• Ensuring all client care visits are fully covered
• Matching Caregivers to clients based on needs, skills and availability
• Managing sickness, absence, late calls and missed calls
• Keeping client and Caregiver information accurate and up to date
• Communicating changes to Caregivers, clients and the management team
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the care service
• Responding quickly and professionally to unexpected changes or emergencies
• Participating in the out-of-hours on-call rota
