Job summary

Oakview Health & Rehab seeks an Admissions Coordinator to coordinate pre-admission and admission processes, welcome new residents, and support families through transitions in a nonprofit health system.

You will collaborate with the center’s IDT, maintain timely contact with intake resources, and build partnerships with affiliated healthcare partners to deliver appropriate care at the right time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Marketing or related field.
• Associate’s degree in related field with three years experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Private Pay and Third Party reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-admission and admission processes with patients and families.
• Maintain contact with center’s central intake coordinator(s) within designated response times.
• Develop partnerships and communication flows with affiliated healthcare partners.
• Oversee development of center’s strategic outreach plans and activities.
• Promote the image and reputation of the System through servant leadership.
