Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years in care management, scheduling or client services in home care.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and authorisation for services.
• Experience with EVV systems and staff compliance.
• Understanding of healthcare billing and payroll processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisation, time management and problem solving.
• Comfort with computers and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for clients and families, resolving questions with empathy.
• Assess and develop individualised care plans, reviewing them regularly.
• Coordinate with nurses and therapists to ensure comprehensive care.
• Create and manage client schedules and match needs to caregiver availability.
• Verify insurance authorisations and ensure re-authorisations to avoid interruptions.
• Train and supervise caregivers, review notes and maintain records.
• Monitor EVV clock-in/out and resolve discrepancies; assist billing with visits.
• Document incidents, generate reports and support daily huddles.
