Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Oceanside, California seeks a dedicated Caregiver to provide hands-on support with daily living activities and compassionate, person-centered care.

You will follow personalized care plans, promote safety and independence, and engage residents through meaningful activities and conversation in a warm, home-like environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.

Pay Range:

17.20 - 21.55

In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses. The eligibility to receive such a bonus will depend on the employee's position, plan/program offered by Sunrise at the time, and required performance pursuant to the plan/program.
