Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care to ensure safety, efficiency, and evidence-based practice.
• Coordinate staff schedules to ensure adequate patient coverage.
• Promote staff engagement and participate in committees or projects.
• Recommend changes to policies, procedures, and department environment to improve service.
• Evaluate clinical competency and participate in performance improvement.
• Participate in interviewing new team members.
• Coordinate onboarding training and competencies.
• Serve as a clinical resource to staff.
• Assist staff in resolving patient care challenges.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness of the department.
• Support Joint Commission readiness.

Education

BSN or Bachelors in Social Work

2 years Care Management experience

RN or Social Work License in state of practice

The care manager supervisor oversees the daily practice of nursing, social work, interpretive services, and resource coordination. The care management supervisor coordinates and supervises the care of pediatric patients and collaborates with other members of the health care team to plan, implement, and evaluate appropriate interventions.
