A caregiving service provider in Erie County is seeking compassionate Caregivers to assist individuals with daily living activities. Qualifications

Job Summary

Your responsibilities will include personal care, companionship, and support with various tasks to promote independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Monitor clients\' health by taking vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
• Support clients with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
• Help with mobility assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Ensure the safety and security of clients by adhering to resident rights and maintaining a safe environment.
• Provide memory care support for clients experiencing cognitive challenges.
• Assist with patient monitoring to track progress and report any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home community care or senior care is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to upholding them is essential.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (max.25lbs) as needed for client mobility assistance.
• Familiarity with monitoring vital signs is beneficial.
