Job summary

FFF Enterprises in Temecula, CA is seeking a SPRx Care Coordinator I to manage intake, verify benefits, obtain authorizations, and secure start-of-care forms for SPRx patients. You will also coordinate with pharmacy staff to ensure shipments and act as a liaison between patients and physicians.

You will enter referrals and orders, perform eligibility checks, and discuss financial obligations with patients while maintaining HIPAA-compliant communications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology and calculations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with patients and staff.
• Detail-oriented with accurate follow-up and data handling.
• Ability to work with healthcare professionals and peers.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and Joint Commission guidelines.
• HIPAA confidentiality and discretion in handling patient data.
• MS Office and internet proficiency.
• One year healthcare-related experience; or two years with FFF/Nufactor.
• Pharmacy technician registration and active license.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones professionally and assist internal/external customers.
• Initiate intake and gather data to admit patients to Nufactor services.
• Enter referral data and order entries into system per prescription.
• Perform insurance eligibility and benefits checks for coverage.
• Determine patient financial obligation and arrange payments with them.
• Coordinate with pharmacy staff on shipments and ongoing orders.
• Provide ongoing patient support, track updates and orders.
• Track shipments via FedEx and document delivery in system.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and HIPAA standards.
• Adhere to all applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
