Rancho Health MSO, Inc in Temecula, CA is seeking a Regular Full Time Clerical RFMG - Ancillary Services to handle patient referrals and authorizations, maintain records, and support staff.

You will verify insurance eligibility, contact insurers, manage scheduling, and help ensure timely, accurate referral processing.

Requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year in a medical office; experience with ICD-10/CPT, Microsoft Office, and confidentiality are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in a medical office or hospital setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology desired.
• Experience with ICD-10 & CPT coding systems.
• Experience processing specialty referrals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Verify patients' insurance eligibility.
• Contact insurance companies.
• Transfer/upload information from an order in the EMR to other applications.
• Call and obtain notes from specialists, labs, and imaging pertaining to the order.
• Attach all relevant information to the authorization.
• Coordinate with staff, patients, providers and administration.
• Process daily task lists created by providers (HMO and PPO).
• Communicate with patients about questions and approvals.
• Order tests when needed to process referrals.
