Job summary

Asante in Grants Pass, OR seeks a Patient Scheduling Coordinator to manage scheduling of surgical and diagnostic procedures and related pre-anesthesia or infusion appointments. You will support the care team and coordinate with physicians' offices and ancillary departments to ensure smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate has strong communication and clerical skills, with at least 2 years in a medical or fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of clerical experience in a medical or professional environment with knowledge of computer programs.
• Associate degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• Healthcare environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical or diagnostic procedures and related appointments.
• Input daily charges and patient forms for reporting.
• Act as liaison between physicians' offices, ancillary departments, and surgical or primary department staff.
• Support care team to meet patient care needs.
