Humana CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Referral Coordinator/HIMS to schedule and pre-register patients for external exams, coordinating with specialists and primary care teams. The role involves semi-routine tasks within policy, with some discretion in prioritization and timing.

TB screening is part of the program. Applicants should have healthcare experience, proficiency in MS Office and medical terminology, and EMR familiarity.

Qualifications

• 2 years of hands-on healthcare experience in a clinical setting
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Proficient with medical terminology
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records

Responsabilités

• Schedules and pre-registers patients for exams and procedures with specialists and providers outside of the primary care physician's office
• Gathers and communicates all relative information and preparation instructions to patient and referring providers
• Follows standard policies with some interpretation/deviation and independent discretion within defined parameters
• Reports to the Supervisor, Medical Referrals
