Humana Inc is seeking a Referral and Scheduling Coordinator to schedule and pre-register patients for exams and procedures with specialists outside the primary care office. You will handle patient communication and coordinate with referring providers.

The role includes a TB screening program, requires 2 years of referrals experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems, and strong communication skills. Onsite in Delray Beach, hours 8:00–5:00, 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• 2 years of hands-on referrals healthcare experience in a clinical setting, preferably within the Medicare population.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and pre-register patients for exams and procedures with specialists and providers.
• Gathers and communicates all relative information and preparation instructions to patient and referring providers.
• Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls ~80% of the time.
