Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Health Care or Social Services required.
  • 1 year of experience in a health care setting with emphasis on customer service, including scheduling, registration or insurance focus.
  • Two years of relevant experience in a health care setting with emphasis on customer service in lieu of degree, in addition to the required experience.
  • Experience with medical forms, letters, and prior authorizations preferred.
  • Experience with data entry and electronic medical records preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds preferred.
