Job summary

Canteen, a Compass Group company, seeks an Associate Care Center Warehouse Manager to lead day-shift warehouse operations and be the primary contact for route drivers. You will ensure safe, efficient operations, coordinate across departments, and drive accountability for execution.

The role requires proactive issue resolution, strong service mindset, and a focus on safety, organization, and cross-team communication.

Qualifications

3+ years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or transportation leadership experience.
Experience supervising warehouse teams and supporting route or delivery drivers.
Knowledge of inventory control, fleet coordination, and safety compliance.
Proficiency with WMS, inventory software, and Microsoft Office.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Lead daily warehouse operations, staffing, workflow, route staging, and productivity.
Supervise associates through coaching, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse, cooler, freezer, and dock areas.
Monitor inventory accuracy, spoilage, waste, and operational performance.
Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve operational and safety concerns.
Support hiring, onboarding, cross-training, and employee development.
Serve as ACC contact for route drivers and manage check-in process.
Verify route paperwork, inventories, returns, and required documentation.
Communicate service requests, route issues, repairs, and updates.
Track, elevate, and resolve driver concerns and operational issues.
Maintain records and partner with teams to improve service execution.
Document vehicle defects, maintenance needs, and equipment issues.
Monitor fleet readiness and provide updates to drivers and leadership.
Ensure vehicles/equipment remain clean, stocked, service-ready.
Maintain accountability for assets and inspection compliance.
Participate in inventories, audits, and recounts; submit supply orders.
