Job summary

Canteen at Compass Group USA is hiring a capable Associate Care Center (ACC) Warehouse Manager in Sacramento, CA. You will lead the day‑shift warehouse operations, serve as the primary contact for route drivers, and coordinate cross‑department communication to uphold safety and service standards.

You will supervise staff, manage inventory accuracy, and drive continuous improvement in performance and safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or transportation leadership experience.
• Experience supervising warehouse teams and supporting route or delivery drivers.
• Knowledge of inventory control, fleet coordination, and safety compliance.
• Proficiency with WMS, inventory software, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety policies, PPE requirements, equipment inspections, and safe work practices.
• Manage daily warehouse operations, staffing, workflow, route staging, and productivity.
• Supervise associates through coaching, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse, cooler, freezer, and dock areas.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, spoilage, waste, and operational performance.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve operational and safety concerns.
• Support hiring, onboarding, cross-training, and employee development.
• Serve as the primary contact for route drivers and manage the ACC check-in process.
• Verify route paperwork, inventories, returns, and required documentation.
• Communicate service requests, route issues, repairs, and operational updates.
• Track, elevate, and resolve driver concerns and operational issues.
• Maintain accurate records and partner with internal teams to improve service execution.
• Document and communicate vehicle defects, maintenance needs, and equipment issues.
• Monitor fleet readiness and provide updates to drivers and leadership.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment remain clean, stocked, and service-ready.
• Maintain accountability for company assets and inspection compliance.
• Participate in inventories, audits, and recounts as needed.
• Submit supply orders and maintain inventory records.
• Review operational metrics and maintain required documentation.
• Manage overtime in accordance with company guidelines.
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and organized operation.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and operational readiness.
• Demonstrate strong communication, responsiveness, and problem‑solving skills.
• Drive accountability, service excellence, and productivity across warehouse and ACC operations.
