Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL seeks a Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 12-week internal registry contract with potential extension. This full-time night shift role requires an active RN license, current BLS and ACLS, and acute care experience.

You will provide direct patient care in Telemetry, collaborate with physicians, and mentor junior staff while maintaining high standards of practice and safety.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate on hire and maintained.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days on hire and maintained.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• RN-BC or similar certification; preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry.
• Direct patient/family teaching and supervise nursing staff.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in clinical condition and monitoring results.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition and response to treatment.
