Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Telemetry in Olympia Fields, IL on Day Shift. This temporary internal registry role lasts approximately 12 weeks with compensation of $60.00 per hour (flat rate).

The RN will provide direct patient care, perform assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, and guide patient/family teaching in a Telemetry Unit. Qualifications include current IL RN license, BLS, ACLS, and basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire; BSN

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN License.
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
Ventilator Management experience preferred.
RN-BC or similar certification preferred.
BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Delivery of safe patient care within Telemetry Unit using the nursing process.
Direct patient care and guidance of patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition including cardiac monitoring and diagnostic results.
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and response to treatment.
