Job summary
Endeavor Health in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the 7E Cardiac Tele unit. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week with day shifts (7a-7:30p) and every other weekend plus rotating holidays.
Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, maintaining competency, guiding staff, and ensuring patient safety. Illinois RN licensure and CPR certification are required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be needed within six months depending
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Illinois Nursing licensure and CPR certification.
- ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required within six months depending on unit.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
- Maintains competency reflective of current standards of practice.
- Interacts with and mentors peers and colleagues.
- Upholds ethical provisions and integrates evidence-based practice.
- Assures patient safety and guides staff in care delivery.
- Documents thoroughly and timely; performs other duties as assigned.
