Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) Cardiovascular Team is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist II to join the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will participate in invasive cardiovascular procedures, develop specialized skills, and contribute to patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI within two years, BLS, and ACLS within three months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience
• Graduation from an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program or qualifying equivalent education/experience and applicable certification
• Alternatively, graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology with one year of radiologic experience
• RCIS, RCES, CEPS, or RT(R)CI certification as required within the first two years of hire
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification within three months of hire
• Strong teamwork, communication, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety

Responsibilities

• Be part of the procedure team during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
• Perform scrub duties for cardiac interventions and catheterizations
• Monitor ECG rhythms and hemodynamic waveforms and document interventions
• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure sterile technique and supplies
• Support ongoing professional growth toward advanced cardiovascular credentials

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience

Accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent education/experience

Radiologic technology background with related experience

RCIS RCES CEPS RT(R)CI within 2 years

BLS certification

ACLS certification within 3 months of hire
