Job summary

MUHA invites you to join our Cardiac Cath Lab as a Cardiovascular Technologist II. You’ll work with physicians and a skilled clinical team to diagnose and treat cardiac and peripheral vascular disease in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You’ll scrub for interventional procedures, monitor ECG and hemodynamics, maintain sterile technique, document in the EMR, and support patient safety and readiness. A bachelor’s degree, CV technology credentials, BLS/ACLS, and effective teamwork are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Graduation from an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology with one year of radiologic experience.
• RCIS, RCES, CEPS, or RT(R)CI certification as required within the first two years of hire.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within three months of hire.
• Strong teamwork, communication, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Be Part of the Procedure Team: Work alongside physicians and clinical team during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Develop Specialized Cardiovascular Skills: Perform scrub duties for cardiac interventions and right and left heart catheterizations.
• Work with Advanced Clinical Technology: Monitor ECG rhythms and hemodynamic waveforms, record procedural information in the EMR procedure log.
• Support Safe, High-Quality Patient Care: Prepare procedure rooms, maintain sterile technique, ensure supplies, assist with patient transportation and readiness.
