UF Health Leesburg is seeking a Cath Lab CVT to monitor diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization procedures under the direction of the director/charge person. The role includes scrubbing as needed, maintaining patient safety and collaboration with the cardiovascular team.

Overview: The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant. Qualifications:

Education

• - Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
• - In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years's experience AND Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)
• OR
• Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
• OR - FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred) -
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields)
• BLS
• ACLS
