Job summary

UF Health in Celebration, Florida, is seeking a Cath Lab CVT to monitor diagnostic and interventional procedures and serve as a scrub assistant. The role requires RCIS or RCES certification within 12 months of hire and a minimum of five years’ experience in lieu of education.

Preferred licensure includes ARRT radiologic tech credentials; BLS/ACLS are required. English proficiency is essential for effective patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Overview: The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant.

Qualifications

Education:

• Associate‘s Degree in Cardiovascular Technology
• Radiologic Technology
• Respiratory Therapy

In Lieu of education requirements , a minimum of five (5) years experience.

AND Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)

OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
• OR - FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification
• OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields)
• BLS - ACLS
• Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
