Job summary

UF Health Leesburg is seeking a Certified Cath Lab CVT to monitor diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures and to serve as a scrub assistant under the director/charge person.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy, plus RCIS or RCES certification (or RCES) within 12 months of hire; ARRT license preferred; BLS and ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
• RCIS or RCES certification required within 12 months of hire.
• ARRT certification preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization procedures.
• Ensure safe patient care in the Cath Lab.
• Serve as scrub assistant.
• Work under the direction of the director/charge person.

Qualifications

Education: - Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.

• In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years's experience AND Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)

OR

Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
• OR - FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred) -
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields)
• BLS
• ACLS
