Job summary

UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab CVT role on a PRN Day Shift. You will monitor diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral procedures, provide scrub support, and ensure patient safety with a collaborative team.

The role requires RCIS/RCES or equivalent education, with BLS and ACLS, and certification within 12 months of hire; ARRT preferred. This position emphasizes clinical excellence and growth.

Qualifications

• Education pathway or five years' experience with RCIS/RCES within 12 months.
• RCIS or RCES certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• BLS and ACLS required; ARRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor procedures in Cath Lab under direction of supervisor.
• Scrub assistant role and ensure safe patient care.
• Collaborate with Heart and Vascular team to elevate outcomes.

Responsibilities

The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant. This is a PRN Day Shift position.

Qualifications

Education

Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy

In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years’ experience and:

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)
• ORRegistered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)

Licensure/Certification/Registration

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)

If no ARRT, then one of the following licenses or certifications:

• -FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license
• OR-FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license
• OR-Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification
• OR-Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification-any of the four license/certifications above within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields
