Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Cardiovascular Technician in Tampa to monitor diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures and support the team as a scrub assistant, ensuring patient safety.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy, or 5 years of experience with RCIS/RCES certification within 12 months of hire; Florida ARRT or RRT licensure preferred, and BLS/ACLS credentials are expected.

The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant.

In Lieu of education requirements , a minimum of five (5) years experience.AND Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)OR - Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)

Licensure/Certification/Registration

* FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)* OR - FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)* Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification* OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields)* * BLS - ACLS* * Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
