Job summary

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative – Cardiovascular to connect with medical professionals and promote Amgen products within the Athens, Conyers, Covington, and Commerce territory. You will navigate the payer environment and implement marketing strategies while delivering branded messaging.

The role involves building accounts, aligning with a District Manager on territory plans, and advancing patient access with a science‑based, ethical approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience that is not sales related

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products and effectively communicate the clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization of the products.
• Perform as a sales leader to achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages and programs and achieving sales targets.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, including discussing needs, ensuring product access, and resolving reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory performance and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Senior Specialist Representative.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen’s products and sustain it throughout the sales cycle while prioritizing patient impact.
• Uphold Amgen values by acting ethically and fostering trust in teams and customers.
