Cardiovascular Institute of the South in Louisiana is hiring an LPN or CMA to support physicians and medical staff in delivering cardiovascular care. You'll perform patient interactions, assist with exams, EKGs, phlebotomy, clinical documentation and administrative tasks.

You'll be part of a team focused on patient safety, documentation accuracy in EMR, and cross-coverage across clinics, with training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School or better.
• BLS Provider certification required.
• Preferred: LPN or Cert. Clinical Med Asst.

Responsibilities

• Record and update vital signs and patient concerns.
• Assist physicians with exams, injections, EKGs, and testing.
• Provide patient education and post-visit instructions.
• Document care in EMR and manage forms/insurance pre-certifications.
• Support front office tasks such as scheduling and registration.
• Ensure clean, safe clinical areas and assist in cross-coverage.
