Job summary

Amgen’s Cardiovascular Key Account Manager role covers the Tampa and St. Petersburg region. The KAM will diagnose the business environment, plan and execute actions for portfolio success, and build strong relationships with hospital and payor stakeholders to drive product utilization.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, delivering MAC-approved data, and managing account plans aligned to CV unit strategy. A competitive compensation package is included with flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications include a doctorate with 2 years of sales/account management experience, or a master's with 4 years, or a bachelor's with 6 years.
• Preferred qualifications include 3+ years in account management/payor roles and advanced healthcare sales experience.
• Cardiology and dyslipidemia understanding, hospital and health-system experience are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic lead for assigned key accounts and engage priority providers.
• Ensure institutional availability across inpatient and ambulatory settings.
• Lead account plans aligned to CV business unit strategy.
• Collaborate with field teams and medical science liaisons as appropriate.
• Develop relationships with hospital decision makers and payor stakeholders.
