Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager in a field-based role covering Miami, Fort Lauderdale and surrounding areas. You will build strategic relationships with hospital leaders, drive access and utilization of Amgen CV products, and lead cross-functional teams to execute comprehensive account plans.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, 2+ years of sales or account management experience.
• Masters, 4+ years of sales or account management experience.
• Bachelors, 6+ years of sales or account management experience.
• 3+ years of account management and/or public payer experience preferred.
• 7+ years of healthcare sales/marketing or related experience preferred.
• Cardiology/dyslipidemia/heart failure experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of hospital procurement and CMS/payor processes.
• Strong leadership and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic lead for assigned key accounts and drive engagement.
• Ensure institutional availability across inpatient and ambulatory care.
• Lead initiatives to promote sustainable institution utilization.
• Develop account plans aligned to cardiovascular strategy.
• Collaborate with field teams and medical science liaisons.
• Meet with cardiology and related leaders in hospitals.
• Present MAC approved data and ensure compliant delivery.
• Coordinate pull-through and access with sales teams.
• Monitor account performance and market dynamics.
• Provide field intelligence to analytics, brand, and market access.
• Coordinate with home office to arrange approved programs and hospital initiatives.
