Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager to lead strategic account management across hospital and health system customers. The role emphasizes building strong relationships, executing value-based strategies, and ensuring access to Amgen cardiovascular products.

Ideal candidates bring deep account management experience in healthcare, plus understanding of payor dynamics, CMS processes, and cross-functional collaboration with field teams and medical science liaisons.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Master’s degree and 4 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience
• 3+ years of account management and/or public payor experience strongly preferred.
• Cardiology experience, including dyslipidemia, heart failure and acute coronary syndromes, highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as strategic lead for assigned key accounts, executing compliant, innovative strategies to engage priority providers.
• Ensure institutional availability across inpatient and ambulatory care settings.
• Lead implementation initiatives that enable sustainable, institution/system utilization.
• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned to cardiovascular business unit strategy.
• Collaborates closely with field teams including compliant partnership with aligned medical science liaison(s).
• Provides field intelligence to Analytics, Brand, and Market Access teams.
