Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Cardiothoracic Surgical Tech experience required.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• BLS certification within 6 months if required by department.
• Proficient in aseptic surgical techniques and patient prep.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe operating room and use aseptic techniques.
• Assist with a variety of procedures and support complex surgical cases.
• Set up the OR, move equipment, and operate essential devices.
• Notify staff of equipment or supply problems and transport patients/equipment as needed.
• Support Surgical Technologists and participate in department activities.
