Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the Cardiothoracic OR team. You will perform scrub duties, assist circulating staff, maintain a sterile field and help prepare instruments for complex surgeries, including minimally invasive and robotic procedures.

This role is part of the Weekender Flex Program with two 12-hour weekend shifts plus one 12-hour weekday shift, paying for 44 hours and granting full-time status and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program OR TS-C/CST certification OR completion of a military Surgical Technology Program OR LPN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub functions and assist in circulating duties under RN direction.
• Set up sterile table and ensure supplies, drugs and equipment are available.
• Assist RN in counting sponges and instruments during surgery.
• Assist with gowning/gloving and patient draping.
• Maintain aseptic technique throughout the procedure.
