Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach seeks an experienced PA/SA/House Physician for Cardiothoracic Surgery. You will assist with OR procedures, patient positioning, draping, and instrument handling to support the surgical team and ensure safety.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 2 years in CT surgery, solid aseptic technique, and current licensure with BCLS certification. On-site position with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PA/SA/House Physician experience in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Ability to work with surgeons and maintain patient safety and quality care.
• Current licensure and BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with positioning and transferring patients pre- and post-operatively.
• Participate in catheter/line insertion, draping, and prepping.
• Maintain sterile field and pass instruments; support vessels ligation and hemostasis.
• Support surgeons, maintain aseptic technique, and monitor patient safety.
